Open Discovery Space plays a key role in supporting the take-up and use of digital educational resources in schools and revolutionises communities of practice in eLearning.

Open Discovery Space is a vibrant
community-oriented social platform
that delivers:
• A pan-European social support network for teachers by teachers.
• The largest collection in Europe of eLearning resources, scenarios and activities.
• State of the art tools - adaptable to local needs, languages and culture - to enable teachers to discover, collaborate , exchange and share resources and best practice across Europe.

Open Discovery Space supports the 2012 ‘Opening Up Education’ initiative of the European Commission DG Education and Culture and UNESCO’s 2012 Paris OER Declaration (OER: Open Educational Resources).
