Open Discovery Space project partner EDEN is pleased to announce their 7th Annual Research Workshop, organised in collaboration with KU Leuven. This year’s Workshop reflects on how students are driving teachers and instructors in fields of learning where new technologies play a key role. The main question for the workshop is how does instruction work in cases where the borders between physical and virtual learning environments disappear, where roles of students and teachers have changed and where new pedagogical paradigms and didactic approaches have been introduced? This event promises to be a unique experience, with strong involvement from the students from the Leuven University and students from other EDEN member institutions. Student-centred learning remain high on everybody’s agenda in this context of mass higher education, posing real challenges to student-centred approaches, even with the support of ICT.
